PERICLES meet at the German Police University in Munster

PERICLES consortium meets at Deutsche Hochschule der Polizei in Münster

PERICLES consortium members convened in Münster this week at the Deutsche Hochschule der Polizei. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss dissemination of the various project tools.

The meeting gave consortium members a chance to measure progress since the last meeting in Athens. Attendees also discussed plans for the release of project tools in April 2020.
During the meeting, partners presented the final tools they have developed. These include:
  • MAVAST (Multi Agency Vulnerability Assessment Tool)
It is important that all PERICLES tools are available and accessible to a pan-European audience. That’s why attendees also discussed translations. Translating the tools into different languages helps PERICLES enhance their reach and impact.
Experts from Greece, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands attended the second half of the event.
The consortium invited these experts to provide feedback and insights on the tools. The invited experts came form police forces, ministries, research organisations and international organisations.
This feedback will inform last-minute changes before the tools are released in April.

The next meeting will be hosted by Hoschschule Bremerhaven in April 2020.
