Welcome to Pericles.

Pericles is a three-year Horizon 2020 Project (2017-2020) funded by the European Union to develop a comprehensive approach to prevent and counter violent radicalisation and extremism.

/ About

The most recent, devastating terror attacks in 2017 alone have shown Europe’s vulnerability. Every country is susceptible to violent extremism and the threat of terrorism has no jurisdiction.

Under the pressure of these recent attacks it has become clear that cohesion and cooperation amongst policy makers and practitioners is essential to managing security risks, preventing the emergence of terrorism and protecting the public.

Pericles will deliver a suite of European tools which will better enable public authorities and public actors across the world to fight against radicalisation. To find out more about the Pericles project click the ‘Find Out More’ button below.
